KAVITA DALCHAND-RAMDHAY, ACIS, MBA

Company Secretary

Kavita is an Associate Member of the ICSA (UK) since 2003 and holds a Master in Business Administration (General) from the University of Mauritius since 2007. She joined the Company in November 2002 as Corporate Administrator, then promoted to Corporate Manager and is since April 2007 the Company Secretary. She heads the Corporate Secretariat team. She has a good in-depth knowledge in Administration of Global Business Companies, Seychelles IBC, Seychelles CSL and Trusts. She assists the Board of Directors and is involved in setting up of entities with jobs from client engagement, carrying out due diligence exercise, day to day administration till dissolution of entities. Prior to joining OCRA, Kavita worked at the Income Tax Department.

LINDA PAZOT ACIS, EMBA

Team Leader

Linda is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (“ICSA”) and holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from BIT, Mauritius Branch. She is also an Associate Member of STEP. She joined the Group in September 2005. Her role as Team Leader/Corporate Administrator is to assist clients in the setting up and ongoing administration of their companies.

VARSHINEE RUNGHIEN RAMASAWMY, GradICSA

Team Leader

Varshinee is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA UK) with 12 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds a Certificate in Foundation. She joined OCRA (Mauritius) Limited in 2006. She is well experienced in the establishment and administration of Global Business Companies, domestic companies, trusts and other foreign companies. She has over 250 companies under her supervision.

KURSTINA RAMSAMY, Bsc (Hons), MBA

Corporate Administrator

Kurstina Ramsamy is a graduate of the University of Mauritius where she obtained her bachelor of science in Banking and Finance, and holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Services. She joined the group in 2013 as a Corporate Administrator. She is responsible for company formation, company secretarial duties, liaising with the authorities for corporate tasks, assisting clients in opening of bank accounts and conducting compliance reviews and risk assessments for a portfolio of clients.

Hena Mutty, BSC (Hons)

Corporate Administrator

Hena Mutty is a graduate of the University of Mauritius where she obtained her bachelor of science in Management.  She joined the group in 2021 as Corporate Administrator.  She is responsible for the day to day administration including corporate work, organizing board meetings, liaising with the authorities for corporate tasks and statutory filing for a portfolio of clients.

BHAVINA RAJKOOMAR, BSC (Hons) FCCA

Regional Financial Controller

Bhavina joined the Company in year 2003 as an accountant. She obtained a degree in Accounting from the University of Mauritius and is a fellow member of the ACCA. She has over 15 years experience in accounting and administration. She is responsible for the preparation of the accounts of the Company and of related companies and for ensuring that the financial statements comply with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

MAHJABEEN ROJUBALLY, FCCA, MIPA

Senior Client Accountant

Mahjabeen joined the Company in August 2017 as Senior Client Accountant. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. She has over twenty-three years’ experience in public practice including twenty years working in the UK. She leads the accounting team and is in charge of preparing, reviewing clients’ accounts and tax returns.

NOORSABA RUJUB, ACCA, MBA, CIA

Senior Client Accountant

Noorsaba is an ACCA affiliate since 2007. She has over 10 years experience in the financial sector. She joined the Company in 2009. She is actively involved in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements as per IFRS standards and she also liaises with auditors in relation to the audit of the Companies in her portfolio. She also has experience in fund accounting. She always ensures that deadlines are met and strives to meet clients’ needs.

JASON SEESURRUN

Accounts Officer

Jason joined the Company in 2010 and has over 8 years of experience in accounting and administration. Jason is currently studying for his ACCA. Jason is an all rounder and his main responsibilities are to provide bookkeeping services such as preparation of management accounts, financial statements, Payrolls and Tax Returns. He also assists with audits of Companies within his portfolio, keeping in mind the deadlines of each Company. With the numerous years of experience, Jason also has some Companies in his portfolio which he administers.

Taheer-Ally Raheemeea

Account Administrator

Taheer is a partly qualified of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants with over 8 years of experience in auditing and accounting. He joined the company in May 2022, with the responsibility of attending clients’ needs and play a key role in the preparation of audited financial statements, management accounts and tax returns.

KALAYEVANEE RUNGHEN

Account Administrator (Accounting)

Kalayevanee joined the company in 2007 where she works as an Accounts Administrator. Her expertise is in the internal administrative and accounting works for the company.

Technology

Dev Ittoo, B.Tech (Hons)

IT Manager

Dev obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Mauritius. He has been with the Group for over 15 years He is responsible for all aspects with regards to Information technology such as software development, website maintenance for the Group. He also oversees the systems and network maintenance and support for the OCRA Worldwide offices in the Indian Ocean region.

Chundunsing Chukun Bsc (Hons) CCRS MBA

Systems Administrator

Chundunsing joined the company in 2011. He is responsible for the maintenance of the computer and network infrastructure, and provides hardware and software support. He also plays a lead role in the company’s digital marketing campaigns and application development. He graduated in Information Systems from the University of Mauritius, and holds an MBA.

OCRA Worldwide announces strategic merger with Acclime

17th November 2022, Hong Kong - OCRA Worldwide (OCRA), announces today that it has completed the strategic merger with Asia Pacific’s premier corporate services provider Acclime (www.acclime.com). This is the latest step in Acclime’s active expansion as the Asia specialist in compliance and corporate services throughout the region.

Established in 1975 and led by Bart Dekker and Dharmesh Naik, OCRA is one of the industry pioneers in the corporate services sector with a full suite of corporate services from company formation, company secretarial support, accounting, and HR services. Over the past 40 years, OCRA has become a truly global business by providing very personalised services to their clients, most of whom are private investors or companies investing abroad.

From its founding base in Europe, OCRA has morphed over the past decade to focus on the faster growing markets of Asia and the Indian Ocean, and currently has teams in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mauritius and the Seychelles with around 80 staff. Additionally, OCRA is licensed in Samoa and the UAE to provide incorporation services to clients and referral partners.

The sale of the business was managed by the corporate advisory team of Mazars in London (Paul Joyce & Fred Dearden), acting for the ultimate shareholder of OCRA, and was opened for bids. "Acclime was chosen as the preferred bidder as the team recognised the cultural similarities, with high quality, personalised services at the core," said Bart Dekker, OCRA’s Managing Director, Asia Pacific. Dharmesh Naik, OCRA's Managing Director, Middle East and Indian Ocean, added, "We are excited and delighted to become an integral part of a large international team with the established resources across Acclime's network, and to execute the transaction in line with OCRA's long term succession plan in the interest of all of our stakeholders."

OCRA will operate as an independent business unit within Acclime, supported by funding, IT and marketing initiatives that will grow the business further. Bart Dekker and Dharmesh Naik will remain running the business post-acquisition.

The transaction is subjected to regulatory approvals in several locations and Acclime is expected to complete the acquisition by the end of 2022.
